ReadStack – Multispectral Image

”ReadStack” reads several separate images and outputs one multispectral image. The number of spectral bands in the output image is the same as the total number of bands of all of the input files. The bands of the first image are put in the lowest numbered bands in the output. The bands from the last image are located in the highest numbered output bands.

The argument entry window can accept a multiple of names. When you browse an image directory, you can select several images to be stored in the entry window. You also can add images from different directories by selecting “Add” more than once.

Image files of any of the supported types can be combined into one multispectral image by ReadStack, as long as all the images are of the same spatial dimension, i.e. same number of pixels and scanlines.
