Arguments for ReadImage and Show
ReadImage
Besides the required argument of the input file name, “ReadImage” also has three optional arguments and a flag. The spectral “bands” argument picks out specific bands from the image. The “window” argument reads only from a rectangular window on the image. The “multipage” number specifies an image from a multiple-image TIFF file (multiband Gimp file). The “calibration” flag says to look for a calibration file with the image. Creating a calibration file is available at the ”Advanced” level.
Show
“Show” has three optional arguments and a flag. The first specifies whether the contrast of each band is adjusted separately or with the other bands. The second specifies a window in which the data is used to adjust the contrast. The third is a “title” to be written at the top of Show’s display window. The “linked” flag indicates that this display image will be scaled and translated along with any other “linked” images.
When unchecked, the default arguments are the first choice offered. Here bands are scaled separately, the window is the full image, and the title is Untitled.
All argument dialog boxes have a “Help” button (question mark icon). Selecting this button will bring up the instruction window for this module.
