Pseudocolor combines two images of the same page into one color image: one taken under ultraviolet (UV) light, and one under visible (red) light. Connect them to ultraviolet_link and visible_link. Both must be single-band images of the same size.
Each image is first normalized over a “neighborhood”, as in Normalize; one number gives a square region. If the sigmoid flag is checked, values outside the stretch range are squeezed instead of clipped (the default).
| color | Separations |
|---|---|
| redcyan (default) | the visible image in red; the UV image in green and blue |
| blueyellow | the visible image in blue; the UV image in red and green |
A third choice, blueorange, is also available.
The output is a color image. Its data type is unsigned integer (the default), signed integer or floating point, with 8 or 16 bits for integers, or 32 or 64 bits for floating point. To turn a pseudocolor image into a black-and-white image that suppresses the overtext, see Sharpie.
