The “chart” mode has one input – a multiband image of the color chart. Four windows are inserted into the “roi” , in order of upper left and right, then lower left and right. From those windows, all 24 regions on the patches are determined.</description>

In the “input” mode, paste the calibration matrix into the ”calibration” entry. The matrix was stored in the the system clipboard in the “chart” mode, shown on the previous page.

All the scanned images from this session can now be read into AccuColor and an 8-bit calibrated color image will be generated.</description>

        <description>AccuColor – XYZ Values

The “inspect” mode has no inputs. It will output a three-band image with one pixel in 24 scanlines. The three bands are the internal X, Y, Z values. The 24 scanlines are the 24 patches of the color chart.

The “record” mode has one input. It reads in the X, Y, Z values for the color chart that was used, and saves them for future use. The input image is the same format as the output image from the “inspect” mode.</description>
